In Microsoft’s new operating system Windows 7, desktop sidebar and UAC(User Account Control) are closely related. This means if you turn of or disable UAC in windows 7 then sidebar will not work. With a simple windows registry tweak you can add the option Delete Folder Contents to the right-click context menu which appears when you right-click a folder in Windows 7 or in Windows Vista.This would come handy at times when you want to delete all the files inside a folder and all it’s sub-folders without deleting the folders themselves.

The user interface of User Account Control (UAC) settings in Windows 7 has changed to reflect the move to make UAC(User Account Control) less annoying.
