How To: Enable ClearType On Windows Mobile 6

ClearType is a text font setting that is built into touch screen devices that smooths the edges of screen fonts to make the text more readable.Cleartype greatly improves the readability of your screen.There is an option to enable ClearType in Windows Mobile 6.However, on most Windows Mobile devices it is disabled by default.

How to enable ClearType on Windows Mobile 6 devices:

Note:But in every manufactured Windows Mobile Pocket PC device ClearType does not work in landscape mode.To fix this open the Windows Mobile registry editor and navigate to the registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GDI\ClearTypeSettings. You’ll find a DWORD entry titled, OffOnRotation.By default it has value of 1. You need to edit the value to 0.You need just to Accept the changes and soft-reset your Pocket PC
